UniChip Question

Ive searched the forum about the Unichip but i couldnt find out what it exactly does. Does anyone know what it exactly does and how much does it cost? And is it a self install or professional installation needed? Also what are the gains? --- Thanx

The Unichip groupbuy is closed and the cost was $675 with a $100 deposit due up front.

Gains for the Unichip are supposed to be ~15whp / ~15ft/lbs depending on your mods. The dyno was tested for a car with H/I/E.
