i live in princeton nj, and i was drivin to a couple of diff body shops bcuz im looking for someone to install z3 inserts on my hood. so i finally find this nice body shop my freind tells me about..they do mad custom work etc...i was looking thru their photo album of all the cars they worked on and the guy see's my 99 TL (oem lip kit comptech springs bosal exhaust grill) and he goes "nice TL" im like thnx acting all proud of my baby(i kno u guys r proud of ur babies 2 lol) but anyway he goes "look at page 14". i flip to the page and there it is, the craziest tl ive ever seen in my life A 99 TL WITH A LEXUS GS HEADLIGHT CONVERSION...guys it was insane i will get pics in a couple days when i go back and scan them in...u have to see this it came out SICK! he said it cost the guy $4800

 

Yeah that guy is on this board. NJzprettyboy (sp). It's a nice job.

 

yeah, its a pretty rediculous mod, but I give him lots of credit.... its nice, clean, and original.... but personally, if I would have wanted the look of a lexus, i would have bought a lexus! But its pretty neat to look at!

yea.. its njprettyboys.. i blieve he goes to Rutgers university. i met him before hes a kewl kid. his car is hotter in person believe me. hes headlights were stolen so i guess insurance paid for sum and he put out a lil so it wasnt that expensive for him.

 

wow... his HIDs were stolen?!?!:yack: I didn't know that, but if that ever happened to me, I dont know what I'd do. I didn't think this really happened as much as people said!

Where have you been? My HID's were stolen right off the bodyshop lot overnight while it was being repaired. Thank god they had possession of my car since THEIR insurance covered for the damages.

yea thats the one im talking about...and it was Ultimate Collision..but i dunno how tru the stories they told me r...they said they put 900hp in a S2000 and that the guy gave them 30g's cash...so i dunno bout that place...but they def. did a nice job on that

 

Ultimate Collision DID NOT do that work. My friend that used to work there did the work at another shop, but did it all himself, his name is Dan.

 

I definitely have to check out his ride in person.

 

streeteffectz i wouldnt be surprised if they didnt do it...the guy there seemed 2 me like he was full of ****...i mean when he showed me the pic of the front of it he was like yea and thats a custom GS front bumper...i was like no thats the TL OEM kit and he was like no...that went on for a while and i just left...he pissed me off
