There are places that can custom make the floor mats for your car. You can make it any style of lettering and coloring on it. Check on the web and I am sure you will find something you like. This goes for the type s shirts also. I made some at the local embroidery store. :p

My guess is that Acura felt that the flashier Type-S floormats would have drawn away from the elegance of the interior. They probably wanted to stay away from the "racer" look inside the car and go with the subtle elegance...Personally, I'd have rather had the Type-S logo, if I wanted pure elegance I would have bought an E class Benz.
