type S exhaust manifolds.

Does anyone have a set stock exhaust manifolds that they are willing to part with? I'm thinking of someone who has put headers on their car. Please contact me privately.

Does anyone know if the type S exhaust manifolds are any different that the regular TL or CL? BTW, I'm still looking for the type S cast iron exhaust manifolds.

I believe they are the same.

My headers are coming in this week, but I am holding onto the stock manifold. But if I change my mind, I'll let you know. Good luck.

P.S. May I ask why you're looking for one? Just curious.

The reason I am looking for an extra exhaust manifold set is that I would like to get a set extrude honed and ceramic coated prior to being placed on the car. Would you consider "loaning" your old set to me for a fee and I will return my stock exhaust manifolds to you when I install "your" modified manifolds back on my engine. I'm guessing that the process will take 4-6 weeks. The big delay will be with the Extrude Hone company. They get pretty backed up during racing season. Also, I have dealt with them before. Jet Hot Coat turns items around pretty fast.

Wouldn't it make more sense to get aftermarket headers and have those honed and coated?? I've never heard of anyone modifying the stock manifold. I'm just new to the concept, that's all.

As for using my manifold, let me think about it. I'm off to class right now, and I'll be back around 2:30. Talk to you then.

If the stock exhaust manifold for the TL-P is the same as the Type-S, maybe we can do a deal. PM me.
