High-Flow Dual Exhaust System

The 3.2 TL high-flow dual exhaust system was designed to promote good engine “breathing” in order to boost horsepower. Other benefits include light weight, minimal noise and vibration, and excellent emissions control. Its compact design even reduces intrusion into the cabin and trunk areas. To help the TL Type S produce additional power, the system boosts exhaust flow capabilities through the use of a larger-diameter exhaust pipe, a catalytic converter with increased flow properties and ultra-high flow capacity dual mufflers.

Do these tail pipes differ from the regular TL??? Would we benefit from type S exhaust or Comptech???

Comptech....looks better too.

 

I checked with the parts dept at my dealer. There's no indication that the Type-S has a different muffler than the TL.
