I just talked to a friend who is a mechanic. My friend has a stock turbo from a 4.3L GMC Typhoon which he is replacing with an aftermarket turbo. I was joking around and I asked him if i could put his stock turbo in my car. He replied that it would be very possible. I would have to make a custom manifold and piping. He then looked at my heads and realized that I would only get turbo running on only 3 cylinders. TWIN TURBO??? Of course intercooler, etc... I THOUGHT IN MY HEAD... NO WAY!!! It's possible but not with my income.#!@! Not only would I have to replace my tranny every week I would most likely spend 6-7 thousand dollars to turbo my car! I might as well run NOS 70 shot!(cRaZy!!!) hehehe I've decided to get a second job for this summer and buy a sports car so I can mod it. =) IS THE TWIN TURBO POSSIBLE??? OR AM I WRONG?

i can twin turbo the TL's for u...you just cant run no more than 6 \psi of boost...enough to get u goin tho..n hey jus imagen a \TL with a blow off

Oh yeah? With what size turbos? And where are you going to mount 2 turbos? And why can't you run more than 6psi of boost. We regularly boost more than that.

And why would you want 2 turbos if 1 properly sized turbo makes peak boost around 3,000rpm?

yeah, this thread is junk and 6 years old. If you guys would search you would see it is possible to turbo the 3.2L with a single turbo, it has been done on a couple CL-S, one turbo setup is for sale in the Black Market, but will only work on the 6speed. Speaking of mrsteve did you buy that setup yet???
