Post Turning Radius

The brochure says the turning radius is 36.8 ft. for TL and 40.0 ft for TL S. Why does TL S need more room ? Bigger wheels ?

It is noticably smaller. I went from a 99TL to an 02TL-S, and gpt myself into a bad situation the first time I tried a U-Turn on a not-so-narrow street! I actually had to stop, back-up, and then continue in the same spot I used to have no problem with in my TL!

They say it's the 17" tire/wheels....

Cool

I agree with you i think the turning radius of the tls is kind of wide, at least compared to a bmw 330i, however the bmw is smaller if that has anything to do with it, but who cares the acura is still a superior car.

My 540i has a much better turning ratio than the TL. I think it's the RWD vs FWD thing that makes all RWD cars turn much better than FWD cars.

They are the best "Bang-for-the-buck" thing you can do. They make the car look great, and the cornering is much improved. For $500+ (with alignment) installed, they are worth it.

Yes I agree, the BMW is an overpriced POS driven by hype! Acura does not need hype - they sell thier cars by engineering alone!!

About the turning circle, I had a '01 Lexus RX300 which I just sold (and got a TLS of course ;-)... the RX has a turning circle of 42 ft...now thats LARGE!
