Turning circle radius
Turning circle radius
Why hasn't Acura tightened the turning radius for the car over the years? Perhaps one of you mechanically inclined guys (or gals) could explain this. Isn't it just a matter of letting the steering wheel turn a little further? Is it a matter of the front wheels not having enough clearance in the wheel wells?

The TL-P has the advantage of smaller turning radius in which they can make smallers U-turns, while the Type-S has a larger turning radius.
Anyways... My friend Michael had his TL-S brought into an acura dealership for an alignment. They also made his turning radius smaller like the TL-P or even better.
You have to make a request to the Dealership for this.
I hope things will work out for you.
I'm planning to get the same thing done for my alignment next month.

on this. the only way to do that is to either change the powersteering rack to one that has different (tl-p), or do modifications to the tie rod mounts on the spindle (none of which the dealer will, or could do under a alignment or cheap. the power steering rack new is over 650.00)

It would require changing or modifying the rack and/or pinion, and that is neither an easy nor a cheap task. And the dealership would never do this.
