Somone on this forum said that a Turbo kit for the Second Gen TL's is coming out next year. Is this true or not? Just curious

Speedr73 created a thread about his turbo project and all seems to be well...but he hasn't responsed to any comments on it in awhile...or last time I looked. I don't know the whole situation but I know the thread exists.

I've never heard of any "kits" being made for any TL. Especially since the 2nd Gen TL is out of production, I'd say that the chance of someone making a kit is slim to none, and slim just walked out the door. The only turbo you might see is a custom, one-off job.

how much hp is the 99tl pushing to the wheels?

I have no idea. Never dynoed my own car before or even looked up how much HP to the wheels our TL's have.

I know the 5(00-03) speed experiences about a 22% drivetrain loss...so the TLP push about 175 at the wheels where as the Type S's are at about 203 at the wheels. Damn auto trannys. Guys correct me if I'm wrong here.
