hey guys, im not really sure at what stage are u supposed to get a full tune up done, but on my 2002 TL-S i have 61,000 miles already, so my question is what is included in a full tune up, and which are the most important to get done first, cause chances are i wont be able to spend 400 or so all at once.

 

THe first major tune-up is at 105k miles. Until then, just regular maintnence items.

 

My idea of a tune-up on our TL's is new spark plugs, tanny flush and coolant flush, oil change, wheel alignment tire rotation and balancing and a fuel system cleaner when your fuel light comes on after your oil change. Then clean TB. that should only run you about 275.00 and will make your car run much better and get better performance and higher MPG. Only major tuneup would be timing belt and water pump at 105k which is like 800.00. I am at 109k and no problems at all, knock on wood, original tranny too.
