Tune up needed at 50K miles?

Do I need a tune up after 50K mile?
I didn't notice any problem. Is there anything that I can do myself and save some money by not taking the car to the dealer for a tune up?

Is there a DIY tranny flush procedure somwhere that I can get my hands on?
What about flushing radiator fluid and changing spark plugs? These two things I can tackle them easily. Now I heard that you'll need a timing belt replacement.

50,000 miles is the severe schedule, in other words you are hard on your car daily and/or live in really bad bad weather.

i havent looked into the tl's price in changing timing belts, but my 96 4cyl 2.2 was around $740 cdn to replace timing belt/water pump and labour(about $500-$560 usd) at the dealer. they automatically charge the computer's estimated time it'll take to do the job which is 3 1/2hrs, yet it only took him 2 hr's tops......... i dunno?????? my buddy's had two timing belts snap on him and it didn't do a thing to his car, keep in mind though he was stranded waitin on a tow truck. i say save your money!

yea if you do a lil search you should be able to find the tranny flush DIY. its baisicly drain fill drive drain fill drive drain fill done. you can only get like 3 quarts to drain out at a time so you do it a few times to help insure you get all the old out. spark plugs should be fine till 100k unless you want to replace them. radiator fluid you could flush also if you wanted to, but iut should be fine.

timing belt and water pump should be replaced at the same time (easer and cheaper to do it that way) around 100k

I like this guy!!!

Just get out the service manual and see all that Acura recommends for 50K and do all that's listed. From what I remember it wasn't that involved.
