trying to fix somethin

A while back i wreak my car yeah i know it sucks. After i got my car back it doesnt beep any more when i lock it and the temp gauge is out too. i know for sure they had to unhook my battery, so it might have reset everything. Is there something that i can do or do i have to bring it to the dealer.

probably a little more severe than resetting something. My buddy wrecked his car and the same thing happened. The dealer nor the repair shop could ever fix it

^because they didn't want to.....the shop that fixed it will fix it again.....even if it means replace everything if it worked before it has to be fixed......

fwiw when i had my system installed in my car my temp gauge just had dashes where the temp should be... i took it back and they just had to plug in a wire and problem was solved... start simple just to be sure before you replace everything... these could be 2 unrelated situations just throwing that out there... good luck

does the temp look like this: "---" that means theres no reading. check the sensor in the front. make sure its plugged in and not damaged. its located behind the front bumper below the latch. mine was like that and the wire was split.

No beep when locking might mean it thinks one of the doors or trunk or hood is open; check the hood latch, if it was hit in front.
