Trying to Find another Type-S
Hey, I'm posting this here, because I'm not sure where else to post it. I have 2003 TL Type-S with 200,000 miles. I've fixed the transmission (30,000 miles ago), updated the braking system, and mechanically it was solid until about a month ago, but now I can't get it to start. I think I'm going to try to sell it and buy a newer generation Type-S. I guess my question is a 3 parter. Where would be a good place to try to sell my current Type-S, where would be a good place to find a newer 3rd Gen Type-S, and what would be a reasonable price to try to sell my old one for?

if it doesn't start I would wager you get about $500- (maybe) $1000 for it. if it does start, is in good shape cosmetically and you include supporting information on all the work you listed above: easily $2-3K.
I think it would be in your best interests to figure out why it's not starting: Is it just turning over and over without starting? no crank at all?

Outside of not starting, it has 3 issues. There are a couple small dents and the drivers seat isn't in the best shape. Other than that everything else is in pretty good shape. I've looked at everything, and honestly can't figure out what the issue is.

Just part it out. you'll get more money than selling it whole. 3g tls is overrated imo. Sold my 6spd 07 tls with about 160k a few months ago for 9k on ebay motors. Some guy in the L.A. area flew out to get it.
