Lightbulb Trunk release button in the front passenger side door?

I noticed that there's an option tab (opening) on the right front passenger door. It's probably for the trunk release button on the Japanese version TL (Inspire). Anyone think it's possible to get the button and harness from Acura and install it so you can open the trunk from either side of the front doors? Any opinions and comments on this will be appreciated...

I would not waste money on another button for opening a trunk. You have two remotes and a button on the driver side. You can also pop the trunk my pulling down the armest in the middle of the rear seat and reach in and pull on the handle.

you have a button in the glovebox (to provide passenger side access) so you'll only be doing a redunant mod.

Really? I thought they only have the master switch there. Is this something new to for 2002?

Thanks guys! I guess you are right, it's not worth the time and money...by the way, the glove box switch is a valet switch only, does not pop the trunk.

I'm sure you could install an extra trunk release button on the passenger side, but I'd be concerned because if your passengers are anything like mine, they just love to push random buttons.

Knowing my luck, the passenger might discover the trunk release button while I'm cruizing down the freeway.
