Post Trunk lid misalignment

The only flaw I can find in my S is that there is a 1.5 mm diffetrence in the gap between the trunk lid and fender, Left to right.

It look like a Chevy in that regard.

Has anyone had a similar problem, and more importantly, is that an adjustment the dealer can correct?

I am going back this Thursday but would like some input and support from the Group, brothers, and I have noticed of late, a few sisters.

I'm not sure what you mean, but it does appear the my lid is higer on the back towards the rear window.. Noticed it yesterday as a matter of fact..

LOL, are you sure you didn't miss anything?

Did you notice that when you shut your trunk it doesn't have the same feel of solidness as the doors. Actually my trunk sounds like a tin can when I shut it. I was gentle.

Sorry to say, but I think Japanese cars' trunk lids(especially Honda and Subaru)sound like tin-can when you shut it close...

European cars seem to sound better in this aspect... hehehe

My trunk lid had the left front edge raised above the fender edge where it meets the window. I noticed that several on the lot were the same. Also, the right edge of the lid was out past the edge of the fender.

I brought these to the attention of the dealer who had both issues fixed before I picked up the car. No problem.

My trunk lid has a nice solid feel when I close it.
