trunk CD changer for 2000 TL

I want to buy a trunk cd changer for the TL. Will any changer work (Alpine 4905) or do I have to get the OEM 2000 Acura TL one? Is the connector in the trunk a standard one?

Also, will a CD changer play burned CD's? Thanks!

I have the OEM 6 disc changer in the trunk of my 99TL and it plays burnt CDs flawlessly (regular audio not mp3 cds).

It should work one way or the other; or get the plug for the back port, then tab into those wires and hopefully you could use your steering wheel audio control. Some experts will probably give you a better info. If you plan to use the control that comes with the cd changer, then I don't think it is a problem at all.

yes, any CD changer will work. I have a JVC 12CD MP3 changer and it works just fine.

another question with what cd changers can you control with the headunit buttons (1,2,3,4,5,6 selection) and use the steering wheel audio controls? OEM only? thanks!
