Is this true... Fuel strainer

Is it true that the 02 TL-S has a fuel strainer kit and not filter. And if yes does anyone know how to do this or is there a DIY on this? Thanks.

Well here read this. This is were they specify.

Fuel Strainer Kit, Read what it says.

im not sure wether or not it has a external filter, but to replace the strainer you have to open up the fuel tank, pull out the fuel pump and then remove the strainer.

The way I understand it, this should not need to be replaced unless you have some unusual severe fuel problem. This is like the old "sock" mesh thingys that were on the old fuel sending units in the gas tanks.

Don't our TLs have a fuel line filter before the fuel reaches the injectors????

Ya one would think there would be an external filter, but I think that is all we have.
