Trip Computer

Has anyone been daring and figured a way to get the MDX Trip computer to work in other models. A guy in the 3rd gen forum found out that all files for all vehicle models of Nav were on the same CD. And with a little hacking he got the trip computer from the '03+ Accord Nav to show up on his '04 TL Nav screen. I guess he didn't liek the trip computer that was already intergrated in the the dash gagues. My question is does anyone knwo if the files for the MDX trip computer are on our old generation nav disks, and if we can some how load it on to our systems like this guy did with his '04 TL with eht newer generation disks. Here's a link to the thread where the guy did it on his '04..... '04 Trip Computer Thread

Part numbers--what are they referring to?
Does the MDX and the TL use the same DVD discs?
