Tree sap
Tree sap
Maybe someone can help me parked my car under a tree last night.......this morining found tree sap on the hood and side...question is what is the best way to remove this from the car with out damaging the paint ............help
cement
goo gone works well also. anyone happen to know how to get cement off my paint? they were doing some construction in my garage and theres a few streaks of the stuff. i tried with my nail and it came out slightly but dont want to lose my fingers over that. afraid to scrub it off too! wd-40 didn't work cuz it's not greasy. any suggestions would be appreciated!
I use clay for tree sap. Others mentioned should work too. Goo gone works great on shoe scufs on the door sill.
For cement, try distilled white vinegar. soak a sponge or something and place it over the cement. Do it a few times and it should start to soften the cement. Then rinse it off with a hose. After that, wash and wax the offending area.

Another vote for automotive Goo Gone. Had a sap problem when I first purchased my car. Clay bar didn't work for me, neither did incessant washing and scrubbing. Goo Gone did the trick.
