Was driving home from work today making a left hand turn onto a road, and I pull up behind a compact looking car that is completely debadged and has a spoiler ...

I had no clue what kindof car it was, except it had a huge exhaust on it. But I thought it could easily be a sleeper car, so I didn't consider racing or anything ...

As we made the turn, the BMW in front of us took off, leaving both of us with a lot of room ... I moved over into the middle lane and accelerated normally, until I heard a lawnmower sounding car flying past me.

He looked at me as he passed and I floored it... easily gaining back the 1.5 car lengths he was ahead by, and pulling another car length or so in front of him before I got to my street to turn off (at which I managed to set off the VSA for the first time)

Anyways, after I got home I looked through edmunds.com for pictures of cars and found that it was a 2002 Subaru Impreza ... Obviously not the WRX model since I was able to pass him so easily.

I'm not sure what he thought he was doing racing, but maybe the exhaust added 50hp to his car, and debadging added another 50hp

More fun "kill" stories... BTW- I love this car!!!!

Its always fun to put cars like that in there place, I have yet to loose to some cheap car with cheap looking mods, I'm sure it'll happen some day, but till then I'll keep racing them.
