Transmission stastic on msn auto rating is confusing me!!!

Transmission stastic on msn auto rating is confusing me!!!
When i bought my TL at dealer, they told me never buy 99 TL coz the transmission on that is worse than 00-02...but now on msn auto rating they mark "MINIMAL PROBLEMS" on 99 TL transmission and all other TL (00-02) transmission are marked "Significant Problems"
So which one speaks the truth???Someone help me clear that out..
