Transmission slipping when cold question

190K on my 03 type-s and the rebuilt tranny has 95K on it. I just changed the ATF fluid again, but I have a problem that sometimes pops up. I'm in northern California and right right the weather is about 30-40 degrees overnight. Sometimes when I start the car on a cold morning the tranny may slip a bit after initially working when I stop at the stop sign 100 feet away from my driveway. When the engine is warmed up it doesn't ever seem to have that problem.

Should I just wait to warm up the engine or is the infrequent slipping not a big deal? I don't want to rebuild the tranny again.

Any owners with similar problems?

Some questions- What did the fluid look like when you drained it? How many miles were on it? Did you use Honda DW1 fluid? Did you just do one 3qt change or more?
Any slipping is not normal so it is likely a sign of worse things to come unfortunately

exactly what marc said, the tranny should shift a littler crispier when cold, i actually like the way the tranny shifts when its cold vs when its hot, shifts are firmer.

Adjust the A-B solenoid, use only Honda fluid and at 95K if you haven't completed a 3x3 fluid exchange you need to because the friction modifiers are on the way out. When was the last time that the 3rd and 4th gear pressure switches were replaced?
