I'm no automotive expert, so forgive me if I don't describe this well. It seems that all of a sudden my car does not shift gears properly. It seems to get stuck in gears from time to time causing the RPM to go way up before shifting. This was once a little dicey when I was merging onto the freeway. I am at 33k and therefore had my 30k service fairly recently. Due to crazy work schedule, I haven't had a chance to have this looked at so I'm hoping someone can give me an idea what it is. Also, this may be a coincidence, but it seemed to starte happening right after I used the Sportshift for the first time in over a year.

Well I finally took it into the dealer (Acura of Serramonte). I left it for a day and when I called to check in they said they were unable to replicate the problem and therefore could do nothing. Basically since it does not happen all the time I need to wait for it to get worse so that it's obvious enough for them to detect. Frankly all they needed to do was try a high-speed merge onto the freeway. Anyway, since this seems like a progressive issue I'll probably look to get rid of my TL-S in the next few months. Too bad, I was going to keep this until I ran it into the ground, but I don't need the headache of tranny problems.
