transmission and power control module

I had tranny replaced at 36,000 miles. Now at 55,000, I have had the recall and the PCM replaced. There is a definite reduction in snap and "sportiness" to this car compared to the original configuration. My dealer says no but they are either lying or misinformed. I believe some sort of monetary compensation should be offered to owners whose cars have been dumbed down to patch a design flaw. Perhaps some extra discount on a new TL. My car is an early model 2002 TLS.

What were the symptoms of your car when u had the PCM replaced??...There is something wrong with my transmission yet i dont believe i need a brand new transmission since it is only 10K old. (and usually the tranny just dies, mine is fine on the highway, just goes into neutral when on street to street traffic) I'm thinking there is a problem with the PCM...any help would be appreciated! thanx

No symptoms. The PCM was a recall that was required by Acura for cars that had had the tranny replaced. Mine was working pretty well prior to the PCM replacement and I wish I hadn't done it.
