My TL's transmission has a metallic clink when shifting into/through reverse? Is this typical? Doesn't sound healthy. Dan

 

It's a really nasty sound... but for some reason it's normal on Acura's. My '98 CL 3.0 did this too. It really only seems to do it when you're rolling forward and shift to drive. If you just go in reverse, brake, and shift to drive... it's OK. Weird stuff.....
