transmission fluid change interval ?
Hi,
DOes anyone know what the factory recommended transmission fluid changer interval is? I looked in the owner's manual and could not find any mention of it.
Is it 30k? 45k? 60k?
Any info would be great!
THanks

Yeah I have an '03. The last change was at 30k.
I just want to know what the factory recommends. I want to make sure I have my i's dotted and t's crossed. GOing to the dealer tomorrow and who knows what kind of crap they're going to try to pull on me.
Then again, if the fluid was bad they should have said something to me when the car was in there for the tranny oiljet kit.

Well since it's an 03 there's a limited amount of stuff that they can hit you for that isn't covered under warranty unless you're over by mileage.
Alignments are big. Unless you hit a curb or mention it to the dealer that the car pulls, don't buy one.

my cousin, who is a certified Toyota techinican, recommends changing the transmission fluid every 30K miles regardless of the manual. yes, Toyota and Lexus vehicles experience tranny problems as well as I am informed.
