There is NO such thing as knowing information like that. Could be the day you drive it away from the trans shop, could be 10 years. No one knows.

A: did you use honda dw1 fluid on the change?

B: it SHOULD last a minimum 50-75kmiles trouble free if done right,,
could go 150-200kmiles without a single issue! or could be a prob in a year

If you are set on a newer TL, do the research on when the trans were actually improved- the gen3 manual trans had a serious prob with 3rd gear (go figure!) synchros iirc

stating in sales ads: you had it rebuilt because you love the car and now are upgrading to newer year of same model= is a good selling point!
doesnt look like running from a POS,,invested in it, kept up maitenance-105 service etc, and now moving up--just like acura wants you too,
every few years sell the current ride and start payments on a new one!

Expect it to last exactly the length of the warranty, and you won't be disappointed.

Got the job done at AAMCO, lot of money wasted.
Just had a drain and flush at DCH Acura so Acura trans oil is in.

But soon as I can find a TL-S 07-08 im gonna get 1....trade mine in as the down payment or im gonna put it on ebay since everything in the car is brand new.
