Tranny replaced

99tl w/o navvy

About 3 months ago around 87k miles I had the tranny replaced under factory warranty.

My wife driving the car at the time we noticed the tranny not catchin the first couple of gears and the traction control light came on. Took the car into ACura and they replaced it totally.
Now, car seems to have a slight hesitation around 20mph and 40mph. I dont know if its anything at all or if its just the natural feel of the car changing gears. Its not a hard or very noticible shift. It just feels really different to me. It could even be cheap Gas.
I am wondering if Acura changed my tranny fluid. I would think so.
I am also wondering what kind of tranny warrantee I have now since they fully replaced it? I am coming up on a 100k and dont want another issue to appear after I get there.

Jayo,
I have had two trannies replaced and this last time I was told that my warranty is 100k mi. from when I bought the car. That means you should have about 13k left and then you would have to pay if it goes out again. You have the same delema I am having. "Should I get rid of the car before the 100k mi. warranty is up?

Did Acura replace them with new and improved trannys or ones built around the time the car was manufactured. In other words, are the new trannys improved over the older ones?

I asked the Gentlemen if they are new or re-manufactured. He told me that they are re-manufactured. I guess the local dealer pulls the tranny and immediately has to ship it back to Honda or where ever they send it. He did say they take the old trannies and look at them and then learn from them, so every time is supposed to be getting better and better. bla, bla, bla, bla, bla, is what I heard. I'm sure they had a meeting and their marketing told everyone how they should answer these type of questions. I'm sure the 04 trannies are nothing like the ones we are having issues with. It sure would be nice if they fit in our cars.
