I am coming up to doing the 30K service on my 03 TL-S. I plan to drain the tranny and refill it with "Jan-U-Wine" Honda fluid. Does anyone know how many quarts of this magical Honda tranny fluid that I'll need? Thanks

 

i believe its 5, but u from what i heard is that u can get around 3 out if u can drain it. unless u flush it, there will still be some old fluid left in there. but im not 100% certain. please correct me if im wrong. thankz

 

Yeah, drain & fill will require about 3 qts. There is no replaceable trans filter so d&f is all that the owners manual requires you to do.
