what are the most common symtoms for the tranny failure on the tl-s just happen today my car shifts 1st, 2nd, and 3rd OK but it doesn't shift from 3rd on. i get to 3rd and going about 80mph and is going about 3 to 4000RPM's, will the dealer give me rental is tranny is totally gone, will they fits the problem on original tranny or replaced it completely with a improved one . thanks in advance?

 

You will get a rental or an Acura loaner.

You're tranny is definitely damaged. Tranny #2 of 5 did this.. i've had ALL the problems you can possibly get with the TL trannies

They will replace the tranny completely.

If i drive my car on the lot, the service manager is already phoning to order a new tranny. I possibly hold the record on trannies (and i don't drive hard, race, or anything!).. 5 transmissions in 35,000 miles!

Four more days till i get my RL... can't wait..
