Tranny dying?

Hey guys-

I have a 00 TL 3.2 (not S-type) that's been working fine for the last 4 years. The car has been acting a bit weird as of late and today it jerks when I let off the gas quite a bit. It doesn't seem to rev down when I let off the gas... say I'm going 55 and let off the gas.. usually it'd go to 1100 rpm, but it stays at like 1600. Then I put the car in park and it cycles from 900rpm to 1700rpm back to 900rpm etc for a few minutes before the cooling fans turn on, the rpm sticks at 1700 and I get a "malfunction indicator" light...

Does that match the tranny problem?

Thanks,
Chris

Sounds like a stuck throttle cable (the cable that runs from your gas pedal)

D*mn

You might be right on that..... I'll let you know what Acura has to say.

Now I just have to find some good replacement tires (stock size).

Thanks,
