Exclamation tranny Class Action settlement

My 1999 TL transimission went at just 110,000 miles last year. I searched web and found that Honda had problems. I went to the dealer and they had area rep there. I ask them to do something for me as I've been loyal acure owner since the line was intoduced. The best deal they gave me was a dicount on the work done through the dealer which was going to be a 4,000 with no warranty. I went to independent and got the work with a one year warranty for 2500.

My question is where do I stand in this class action?

Any Info appreciated,

DONPAUL

From the documents I read regarding the Class Action settlement -- we're going to be covered an extra 9 months or 9,000 miles (109,000 miles total).

I got a letter in the mail about the class action lawsuit and read through it, basically its useless. I don't think it will benefit many people. I'm at 105k right now but since my car is a 99 i probably wont get covered since its been longer than 93 months. The transmission will probably be an out of pocket expense for me and I definately will buy my future cars more carefully.

wtf does and extra 9k or 9 months do?? not a damn thing, that class action suit was a waste IMO. should be 200k, or like 13ish years figuring off of 15k miles driven per year. in todays world with technology etc. a tranny should last the life of the car under normal conditions, not 109k.

what BS.

acura messed up and we have to pay for their mistakes it seems. i agree that this whole class action lawsuit is a joke, it only shows that we will fight back, even if its a losing battle.
