Hey guys, I was using my sport shift and I was stuck in 3rd. I try to shift up or down nothing happened. Then I put it back in Automatic and it was still stuck in 3rd. It was raining today also. Is this a sign of my Tranyy Fuc**** up? Man I hope not. Damn Why me????? Whats the process of getting it replaced for those of you have had it done. How many 2000 TL trannys are messing up? Is it more 99 or about the same?

depending on the mileage and the age that might be considered a factory defect and they might have to replace it depending on the power train warranty

Its been 4 month since i got my TL-S. This car is sooo awsome. BUT! Tranny has been giving me problem since day one. For my TL, I have a problem with after driving it for a while and i stop the engine, then i come back to restart the engine it would make this Big KNOCK sound out of the engine or the tranny area. I brought it to Pasadena Acura and they deny it saying that it was some thing else i hear. This happens to my boss CL-S as well but they deny it as well. I am thinking of writing a letter to to our local news to have them post this issue and hoping Acura will admit to this tranny issue and do a recall on it or some thing. Tell me what you guys think of my idea.
