Tranmission Oil...

So I was reading up on Redline High Temp ATF. I'm due for my transmission drain and fill from the break in of the new transmission I got last month. Should I switch to this or should I stick with the Honda ATF?

Just stick with Honda ATF Z1. Change it every 20-30k and you will be fine.

In the TL automatic transaxle we recommend the D4ATF a suitable replacement for the ATF-Z1 fluid. The High Temp ATF is a higher viscosity fluid typically used in extreme applications where additional viscosity at elevated temperature could be beneficial. The higher viscosity though can alter the shift characteristics causing a delayed and firmer shift at lower temperatures.

honda or amsoil. amsoil is a perfectly fine replacement. that's what I've used and I've had good success with trannys. 1st one lasted until 143k+

I'm so lost. lol What would be a proper replacement? And Raj, I was told to do a drain and fill after 1500 miles of the reman transmission being in my car to remove any metal particles that may have come off and went into the oil.
