Trailor hitch????
I was wondering if anyone has a hide away trailor hitch on thier car? I have a 2003 tls and just bought a 15' jet boat that i would love to pull behind my car. I've never seen one on a tl, but i really don't want to keep asking my friends and family to tow this thing for me. I don't know what to do???

Thanks for the info, your right you can barely notice it. I have a oem body kit, but I noticed it doesn't really hang much lower in the center of the bumper than stock. Thanks again, I think i'll give it a shot.

no..the guy where i bought the trailer hitch did it for me...however it didn't look to hard. You just have to hoist up the car on some ramps to get underneith. From there you have to drop the two mufflers down a bit so you can get in there. (they are attached with rubber clamps.) Thats it...three bolts and your done!!!.

Alright, finally got the Hidden Hitch installed.
If anyone is thinking of installing the Hidden Hitch yourself do not follow the manufacturer's instruction exactly. ( http://www.hiddenhitch.com/images/pr...ions/60913.pdf ) You should FIRST hand tighten the two 19mm flange nuts up to the 1/2"x1 3/4" frame bolts that you had fished through the frame channels before moving to the 2" carriage bolt that goes through the "tie down hook". Torque everything to spec. and you're done.
Oh yeah, you will have to enlarge the access holes as on page 2. of the instructions. I used a wrench and it seems to work ok.
If everything goes smoothly it should only take 1/2 to 3/4 hour to complete. It took me 1.5 hours because I accidentally pushed one of the bolt assemblies back into the frame channel
