trading tl in?
Considering that the new TL will not be out until mid-late '03 you have to factor in the depreciation of your car. On top of that the value of your car will drop as soon as the '04 comes out.
Figure if the new TL will be around $32k.... you'll probably get low $20k or high $18k-$19k a year from now (depends on mileage). I know guys from the CL board traded in their 2001/2002 CLS for the 2003 6-speed and it cost them about $4k-$6k or so... and they had low mileage newer cars.
I also know that when I had my CL the trade-in value dropped about $2k as soon as the 2001 2nd Gen model was released... so expect the same. It also really depends on the differences... if the '04 is similar to the '03... you'll be better off... but since it's scheduled for a redesign and not a refresh... it should be a new model.
