Trade In Values

I cant find any pricing information on the web for 2002 models yet. What do you guys think a 2002 TLS non navi with 10k miles would be worth on trade?

Remember, a Dealer will offer you below wholesale on any trade to maximize their return on reselling the car. Herein lies the difficulty of trading in such a new model. Of course, they look at the market you are in to see how soon they could re-sale the car.

Let's say you paid $31K new. They will probably offer 18K to you to see if you are stupid or not. I am guessing the best you can get will be $22K on a trade. They know that you must be unhappy with the car to be getting rid of it so soon...so they will play on your emotions more than enything else. It also depends on what you want to trade it in for...another $31K car? or perhaps one that costs closer to $40K...then you might get more for it. But, remember, if they go up on the trade, they probably will not budge on the price of the new car.

You would be better off selling it outright yourself.

Just call the used car guy at your local acura and ask for a no look
price for your car. In Seattle it's $24,000 for a tls with nav. With
possible tax credit youre only looking at around $26,000. Here
the same car can sell retail for $29,000 stupid fast.

I'll agree with closer.

My local ford dealer had a 2002 TLS non-navi with 5k miles they gave the guy $25000 and were selling it for $30000.
