I have having trouble selling my 02 TLS... I posted an ad for it and did not get any calls in the last two weeks. I was asking $26500. Damn! Think I may just have to trade it in... what would be a good trade-in price? The car has 20K miles, immaculate condition, all service records, with DVD nav. I appreciate any input. Thanks.

 

Well, the kbb.com website puts the trade-in at $23,420 for my area... not sure what it would be in your zip code but that sounds about right. Remember, it is the year 2002, so people don't realize that you've had the car for a while, they see 20k miles on a 2002 and think it's high, then they realize for about $3k more they can get a brand new non-navi TL-S.

Go to kbb.com and see what the price is.... the odds are this is what your dealer will give you. My dealer went to kbb.com right in front of me and said this is what we'll give you.

$25,750 for Private party

thanks for the responses. I checked up KBB and it says private party is 26800. Edmunds TMV for Type S with Navi is 32777 which is 6K more than my asking price. My payoff is 27K...it sucks to be upside down

 

what are you trading it in for????
