I hope he means you can trade in your 99, and put $4600 down.

If it means you'd be trading it in for $27,000 U.S, I'd say it's an awesome deal. Seems highly unlikely, though.

I have a 99 and my dealer said he would let me tradei it in fo about 19,500 leaving me with about 13,000 for the Type-S.

3 year old TL for only $2100 depreciation?
(4600 minus 2500 for Type s)
Ask him what the catch it. He is giving away money.

Question

Say you bought a 99 tl for $18700 and you want to trade it in for a 02 type S. Will the dealers find out that you bought the TL for that price and make you pay more for the trade in or not?

I think you mean 5625, and I am still gonna call bullshit on it.

Kelly's Blue book, which is actually always on the high end, says our 99 with NAV and rear spoiler is worth $22,970.

Mr Hyde paid 36,000 for his Type-S, so let's see:

22,970 + 4600 = Ha Ha, No F-in way.

Don't mean to flame, but something is missing here.

well, this whatever name moderator, for some reason I dont really care what you saying, however, I am asking for comments. SO I am expecting someone "flaming" my words....
anyway! I have sold my 99TL WITHIN one day
last week coz of my milage. For people in Edmonton ALberta Canada check your journals ADS, I receive more than 20 peoples offer me a deal. why would I have to BS in this forum and wasting me time to get someelse attenetion. Ha, that's ridiculous. But thanks for the comments all of you..

Dude, calm down. I didn't call Bullshit on you!! I called it on the dealer. I said something is missing. I know you can sell you low mileage TL easy. I think the dealer was playing games with you, that's why I said what I did.

Question

i live in canada and the 2002 tl in canada costs 37k and da tl-s costs 41k...i really doubt that you can trade in a 99' tl and only pay 7000 cdn. since i wanted to trade in a 01' tl and couldn't even get close to that. The figures ur giving means the dealer would lose a lot of money...but if u can get that deal den hook me up..i'll drive west to get that any day.

Listen everybody,

I am in Canada. I traded my 2000 Naple Gold TL with 45,000 km to a brand new TL-S 2002 Silver Satin.

The deler gave me 29,000 CAD for my old car, and I paid 41,000 for the new.

So I paid 12,000 CAD + 895 Preparation more for that + tax(always )

So 41000 CND is about 28000 only??

That is a damn good price for a TLS!!
