Justnspace thanks for making the pics visible on here. My Roommate and I were were traveling on 395 N under the tunnels in DC and as we approached the exit the lanes narrow down to 2 lanes as you come up into the city and I was going maybe a little faster than I should have but by no means FLYING! There was a white Chevy truck in the left lane as we approached and he drifted into our lane, not that he was trying to get over but more like he was doing and maybe he did not know he crossed the line...by that time it was to late and I hit him on the back driver-side and rear. It all happened so fast guys and the next thing I knew I was in the hospital looking at theceiling, lol. I am just glad we walked away from that and are alive and safe!!! Thanks so much for your concern!!

^ if the airbags didnt deploy, i take back my comment on our cars' safety.
but if you look closely in one of the pics, it looks like the side airbag did go off. im assuming the fronts went off too.

Glad to see that you guys made it out safe... you guys are very lucky...
saw something very similar the other day right in front of us on the LIE... pick up doing 35 or so in the right lane switched across 2 lanes in front of a 350z doing 65 in the far left lane... 350 was literally decapitated (A+B+C pillars gone, roof gone) and the rear axle of the p/u was embedded in their hood (completely separated from truck) with the trucks front tires sitting on the trunk of the 350...yet the airbags of the 350 did not go off... good thing it was a 5 ft girl driving the Z or she would have been beheaded just like the car.
sensors have to be hit just right for the airbags to deploy.... my brother hit a tree doing 30+mph when he slid off the road in the snow and the airbags did not go off... Ford said that they were not supposed to go off in his case which seemed very weird to me...this is an 8,000lb truck that hit so hard that the battery, which sits right behind the headlight was pushed back to the fire wall with the master cyl sticking straight through it.

Very true, only the airbag on my seat(driver) went off. The other 3 did not and the guy at the junkyard to me because the truck sat higher up that it missed the sensors. Wow that looks like a bad accident also

glad ur ok. I was in an accident almost the same as urs. I had a 1999 honda inspire(acura tl in the U.S). I was driving on the main road doing about 35mph when suddenly this lady came out of the side corner. i tried to drive around her but another car was coming in the opposite direction. So i ended up hittin hear real hard. Totaled my car in the process. But she was in the wrong because i was on the main road and She was in the corner, i did not let her out. Came to find out she was drunk
