torque specs on exhaust manifold
Hi ya'll,
Man, I've been searching awhile now, and can't seem to find the exact torque specs on the exhaust manifold.
I'm going to retighten the header bolts this weekend, and want to make sure I just don't do it until it "feels pretty tight."
Thanks in advance.

What I did was I went to comptech and read their instructions. Almost all of the headers had the same torque (except for the 4 cylinder engines like the RSX).
Here's an example:
NSX - 25 ft-lbs
Integra - 23 ft-lbs
The other 4 cylinder engines (Civic and RSX) were 30-35 ft-lbs.
I used 25 and haven't had any problems. The last thing you want to do is strip a bolt.

Thanks for the reply.
I checked the .pdf for Comptech CL/TL header installation, and found that it said "see service manual for correct torque specs." Maybe I should get a Chilton's manual or something.
Anyway, 25 ft-lbs is a better go-by than no go-by...thanks again.
