good news: i got my car lowered and it handles amazing

bad news: i got pulled over at 1am for my tints while my front windows were rolled down. they are 20% so obviously its not gonna pass the light meter test.im fucked

it was a warning but the warning states that i have to go to the dmv and get a light meter test within 20 days or they'll suspend the registration on my car. maybe i can hit on the dmv lady and get it passed

Thy do but it's not a standard issued item in every cop car... Drive to Darknights in Markham this summer with illegal tints... They will get you for sure.. They pullover a few hundread cars everyyear and do thurough inspections of the aftermarket mods.. tints, lowering height, inspect tires for rubing, etc...


And from the post here the cop didn't have a meter, he just said it looked like it was illegal, hence the poster having to get it actually checked at the DMV. I bet you the cop couldn't legally give you the ticket unless he has an actual way of getting a light reading on it, opinion doesn't work for a ticket but I guess it can get you to get it checked.

in CT its 35% i think its diff for other states, like cali u cant have ur fronts tinted at all

Over here in FL, its 20% legal, other than that, its your luck

not quite sure, lol all my friends have tint, couple guys had 35% and then 25% on top of it, on their legends/civics, so it was hella dark, they never got pulled over, so id uno how much it is here lol

haha dam here in jersey we got it pretty lucky. they just give a $45 ticket here. and they dont check any aftermarket mods. a cop pulled me over and asked if i was supercharged and said he wanted to s/c his 7th gen accord. lol i get pulled over for tint all the time and they always seem to let me go. maybe its my chief of police card n a fam. member pba card. haha

sorry to hear that, some Cops just don't have a sense of humor and allow the tint, just need to fill the bank accounts with your money

That not bad at all compare to Ga.

I only got 1 ticket for my tinted now i roll around with sunroof cover out to shine light in my car.


I think only reason it's 20% in FL is B/c of HOTT Sun RAY
