Is it me or the xenon headlights on our TL's not as bleu as the ones on the bimmers and MB and lexus. Just thought that the others are alot bluer..

 

the HIDs on the TL are white...it turns only blue when turning on, so you only see a glimpse of it the first minute or so and then it turns into a white light

 

but they are still pretty cool;

yeah i noticed that too when i got my TL back in early 2000.... another difference between our hid and for example bmw is that bmw headlights are projectors, a circular form while ours are squares... the lights that come out of projectors tend to look like it's "sparking" while lights like ours project a "beam"... just look at the difference between older model Merc-benz ML class hid lights compared to the new models with projectors.... hope that helped a bit
