Cool TL Wheel Size

Anyone know what is the max width for rims for the TL? 6.5" from factory, I believe, but what should I look for in aftermarket wheels? 7.5" maybe?

i put on 17x8 with 225/45/17 tires and had rubbing on the outside of the rear tires under heavy cornering/load. i had to shave off about an inch of the inside bumper molding and everything is fine. i have no idea why they put the molding there.

Thumbs up

Thanks, ZodiakTL!! Since I'm leasing, maybe I'll go with the 7.5s with the most rubber I can put on 'em. Can't do body mods I don't think.

Vinnie - they would never see it if you do a half decent job of cutting it with a small hacksaw, sanding it smooth, and applying a bit of touch up. I did it, and you would have to be looking for it to see any difference.
