Totally different cars, depends on what you need from the vehicle.

2002 TL-P should only cost 1 or 2 grand more than WRX. If you want luxury, get the TL. But if you want to mod your car like mad, get the WRX as it has lots of parts available. WRX is a racing machine. TL is more classier. Depends on your choice.

I'd say WRX... it's much faster than TL (.5 seconds from 0-60 MPH), it should be fun to drive, the only thing is that it's not a luxury car and it's smaller. I always wanted a Subaru Turbo in Taiwan, but I still can't drive over there... (have to be 18)

By the time you get to the Subaru dealer all of the WRX's will be gone... and most likely there is a long waiting list and a nice no discount MSRP only or higher... I guess you'll be left with TL as your only choice...

Get a WRX. The Jap version is 280 Horse Power. It's a slalom rocket. U.S. version is a bit slower and less powerful, but there will be after market Turbo Upgrades and chips in no time.

And if it snows a lot, you got AWD.

SUBARU? SUBARU? Not even a comparison... Get a TL and don't be a dummy.

TL and WRX are two completely different cars. The first is a near-luxury mid-size sport sedan and the latter is a boy-racer compact rally sedan. While sticking with the same manufacturers. A sensible person would compare the TL with the Legacy, and the Integra type-R with the WRX.
