TL Totaled Great Pics.

My 99TL was Totaled by a RED OAK tree 2 weeks ago. Wind blew the tree down. I wasn't in the car! It hit the car so hard that it knocked the fan out of the radiator. They suspected the frame was bent. It was drivable but pulled to the right. Insurance company was fair. Gave me full Retail on the car. Thought you might enjoy the pics. I just stood there in dis-belief when I saw the car. Bought a 2003 Type S 5 days later.

Was expecting to see something like the trunk of the tree completely over the entire car, but still, this sucks just as much. Congrats on the new ride.

i remember when i first bought my car.. parked it at my cousin's street.. came back a few hours later and a big tree lands right on the hood/front bumper. if my car was parked just a few feet forward.. my car would've been totaled for sure. i was going to fight it through city hall to get some reimbursement since it's the city's fault for not cutting the old trees down.. but it was a long and tedious process.

also reminds me of the crazy socal winds we had last week.. many cars were done for after it was all said and done.

where's the pics of the new ride?

Fortunately I could still drive it around to shop for another car. Insurance totaled it the next day so all in all it could have been much worse. It was really beat up!
