TL Styling - Zzzzzzz....

I am ready to buy/lease a TL. Everything about it is impressive except for the exterior styling. I know this is a subjective matter, but as with most four doors, especially Japanese cars, the design tends to be boring. I find the Audi/VW four-doors nice looking. BMW looks classic too. Hell, even the new four-door civic has nicer lines. Lexus/Mercedes - gag.

I will probably still purchase this car. I guess its sleeper looks might fool people. Wonder whay you TL owners think about the exterior design.

Agree.

The TL-S is a good start. I'm thinking the styling will be redone in 2004

Mods? What mods? I can't afford mods, I'm getting married!!
Vin says 2001, but it's really a 2000 with an upgraded cupholder!!

why buy a car, especially for that much money, if you're not REALLY happy with it

you may consider getting some exterior accessories like body kit and spoiler. It wonn't change the look that much but it makes the car look nicer IMO.

Have you seen the TL's with kits?
Not in picture but in person. It looks pretty good.

Definitely get the bodykit and rear spoiler. It will make the TL look more aggressive.
FYI, look at a plain TL and a TL with exterior mods. You can see a major difference.
IMO, I think the TL looks pretty sleek and sexy. And with the bodykit and spoiler, downright aggressive looking.
BTW, lowering the TL makes it look 100% better also.

The exterior styling is way better than some of the competition for cars in its class... I dont understand what you are even saying, "well im going to buy this car, but the styling is boring .." Sounds like you need some spice in your life, M3 anyone ???
