i think the TSX would have better handling around corners if all the other cars are stock. Some of the members have modded their cars out so well...its hard to judge which one is quicker or more agile.

sorry my question was not clear enough.

Let's just compare them stock vs stock. No mods.
and put the fastest edition of each of them on the line.

TL-s, CL-s( i dont know if we have stick CL-s, if we do put the 6-speeder up), TSX(if have stick put stick up), and new RL.

o, and let's just compare on race a straight line, cornering will be another different story i believe....

I believe the 04 TL/6MT is fastest in a straight line, and should be a bit faster on a long road course. The CL-S is just a tick slower. On a tight course or autox course, the TSX and RSX would be a bit faster than the TL and CL-S. I think the TSX may actually be faster than the RSX, as it makes a slightly better race car in SCCA Touring, but the RSX maty be better in stock form.

thats what i said in my post, both are 6speed. both are fast and it would more than likely come down to the driver

It weighs 4000 pounds and has a soft suspension. It doesn't even come close to the lighter FWD cars.

Not only is the 2005 ones faster, Isn't the 2002-2004 RSX-S faster than the TSX also?

MY Guess...

New TLs, CL-S (only if 6 speed), TL-S/CL-S (Both SS), TSX, RL

but on a road course they would be very similar.
and the RL is a very good handeling car even with its weight. and would give all the acura line a run for the money in the twisties

don't forget, RSX's are almost 600lbs lighter than TSX's... (~2700lbs vs ~3300lbs!!)
even with the 02-04 models, a RSX-S can easier out run a TSX. with the increased torque and hp, wider tires, the 05 RSX-S will beat a TSX by a even greater margin.

i think in terms of straight line acceleration, the 6speed 3rd gen TL will be the fastest, follow very closely by the CL-S 6spd, then TL-S/CL-S auto and 05 RL, and finally the TSX.

TL 6 MT is the King

CL-S 6MT comes just behind it.

.
by the 1/4 mile both are almost identical in terms of speed and time. both have almost identical skid pad #'s the chassis on the tsx is much better balanced for road course racing. it dominates in scca and autox
