TL-S things I still haven't figured out...

When I first got the car, I read the manual and it said the front headrests pivot forward and backwards. Try all day long, I still cannot get them to pivot. Any trick to this? Or was this just for TL-P?

Folding the outside mirrors. They seem to fold, but I cannot get them too. I feel like I'm going to break them every time I try.

Any special trick to doing these things? Search feature hates me.

The headrests dont rotate, at least mine don't..they just adjust up and down and the outside mirrors do fold in but not without you grabbing the mirror and doing it yourself..comes in handy on narrow street parking..i wish they were motorized like the lex's and benz's.

I guess the headrests were a TL-P thing only... Acura needed something on the TL-P to make up for the deduction in power over the TL-S, huh Zeus? lol, jk.

I know the mirrors have to fold, but how? I've tried to fold them, and it feels like I'm going to break them off the car.

opposed to what? they probably add 1k to the price tag for useless shit like that.. and people pay for it is the sad part.

and when they break... $$ to fix something that most people just push with a hand.

The side mirrors are foldable but it takes some elbow grease. I tried to fold it but dont want to break it so I left it alone. One day, someone bumped into it and got it folded. I unfolded it. Now I know you have to give it some strength to fold it.

i thought they were breakaway mirrors, not designed to be folded on a regular basis but just to give way if you hit something...

i've always been told it was for both

if you hit something hard enough, it'll break anyway.

i use it when parking at a public event... drunks will run into them backwards eventually.. i've seen it happen! lol

if you have never folded the mirrors, they will feel solid as a rock
but once you fold em in and out a couple of times, they should be good

headrests only on the tl-p
you snobby tl-s guys dont get to ride comfy =P

I always thought the TL-S headrest looked like the cushion you put your face in when you get a massage.

Folding the mirrors: mine don't fold that easily. I've found the best way to fold them is just to sort of lean against it to fold it as opposed to trying to fold it back by pulling....takes a lot less effort!

I've also hit stuff and the mirror did fold back, but the only thing I had to replace was just the glass.
