hey, i just got my fall edition of 'expressions' the canadian acura magazine and on the cover there is a picture of the TL-S A-Spec, exclusive to canada.

it comes in Nighthawk Black Pearl and Aegean Blue Pearl. Mechanically it is the same, but it comes with different 7 spoke rims, side blinkers, a kewl spoiler, aerodynamic body kit with chin spoiler, and the head lights are carboned like the new CL-S. the interior has chrome side sills, new two tone leather with blue perforated leather inserts in seats, door panels and steering wheel. new shift nob and wood trim has been replaced with titanium looking trim. there are new a-spec floor mats and should be available in feb next year in canada.

i think it's pretty cool....

Not sure if I like the new shift knob or the blinkers on the spoiler but everything else looks pretty good!

 

I'm digging the exterior, especially the headlights and grill. For some reason the body kit looks different as well, the front corners seem less pointy which is nice.

I'm so mad ... why bring this out after I got a '02?! The A-spec looks cool. Not sure about the shifter (like the Type-S one better) but all the other goodies ... wow. Maybe I can do this instead of the JDM conversion...

Looks like they increased ground clearance too. Is that two-tone leather or alcantara like a S4?

 

I kinda like the color-keyed grille pieces. Also, do the headlights look like they've got blue in them as well? I'm digging both of those items.

Not sure about the two tone seats or the blue on the steering wheel -- it's a nice touch but I think it's a bit out of step with the car's character.

I like the 5-spoke wheels better than the 7-spoke ones, too.

That interior is disgusting for a four door family sedan looking car, I guess if that style is for you it would be great, I personally like how nice and classy the inside of my TL looks, not like a smurf tossed a fit in my car.

 

No fair, I want one! Good thing I have NHBP already, so maybe if ACP starts selling these parts I can get them and add them onto my car

i actually like the interior except for the shiftknob...the knob should be black and blue not white & blue!

it makes me want to trade in....hhrmmmmmmm

 

i like the titanium trim, and the two toned seats, but the steering wheel and door panels should stay black...and the headlights are nice!!! are they black out? or body colored?

That is so strange that Acura would introduce this model in Feb 2003 when all rumors indicate a brand new 2004 TL for the spring of 2003. Maybe the new TL is not coming out this spring after all?

 

I think they put out this A-spec to clear their TL in the production pipeline to make room for 2004 TL. Just like those special edition Civics and Accords

SAME THING IM THINKING... I HOPE! Cuz Im waiting for 2004 TL.. Also its only available in Canada.. Its just to get there last TL's Out and make room for the new ones.. when they do this people think that its like new and they think they are getting a new designed car when infact theres a whole new design on its way..

the only things i like of this car is the aluminum interior and the spoiler

imo, the other items of the a-spec package is :yack:... but that's just me..
